The Annie E. Casey Foundation has made a name for itself with its KIDS COUNT statistical information covering childhood and family well-being. The just released 2010 KIDS COUNT Data Book is an information-rich tome targeting every state in the United States, and many cities and local communities, with the latest data on the well-being of children and families. It’s online KIDS COUNT DATA CENTER is an interactive display of statistics for topics such as childhood obesity, high school drop outs, children living in poverty, children living in single-parent families, grandchildren being cared for by grandparents, unwed mother birth rates, child immunization rates, children with unemployed parents, and much, much more.
