MHC Info Solutions managed the consolidation of over 30 department and program websites into one main company site. The project involved becoming staff support for finding the staff members contributing to the websites, organizing a culture shift to central control, facilitating team meetings, organizing the bid process for web design and program firms, researching target audiences, involving staff members in creating a content strategy (audits, migration, archiving), facilitating new information architecture and navigation changes, reviewing content management systems, researching and writing content, facilitating user evaluation, and being a strategic review liaison to external firms, partners, and vendors. The process took over two years, seven firms, and over $1 million for the content strategy piece (total budget was not revealed).
